1. AI Mechanism

MemoThings uses large language models to automatically generate flashcards from user-provided text prompts. The AI extracts key concepts, simplifies information, and formats it into question-answer pairs optimized for the FSRS spaced repetition algorithm.

2. AI Content Disclaimer

AI-GENERATED FLASHCARDS MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES, OMISSIONS, OR MISLEADING INFORMATION. THE AI MODEL DOES NOT POSSESS TRUE UNDERSTANDING AND MAY GENERATE CONTENT THAT APPEARS CORRECT BUT IS FACTUALLY WRONG. ALWAYS VERIFY AI-GENERATED CONTENT AGAINST RELIABLE SOURCES BEFORE RELYING ON IT, ESPECIALLY FOR CRITICAL SUBJECTS SUCH AS MEDICINE, LAW, OR SAFETY-RELATED TOPICS.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying AI-generated flashcards. MemoThings is not liable for any consequences resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, including but not limited to exam failure, professional certification issues, or dissemination of incorrect information.

4. AI Credit System

AI card generation operates on a credit system. Credits may be included with subscription plans or purchased separately. Credits are non-refundable and expire according to the terms of your specific plan.

5. Prohibited Usage

You may not use MemoThings AI features to generate illegal content, hate speech, harassment materials, phishing content, or content that violates the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to suspend AI access for violations.

6. Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of flashcards created using AI features. By publishing AI-generated decks to the community, the same community licensing terms apply as for manually created content. MemoThings retains no ownership over your AI-generated cards.

7. No Professional Advice

MemoThings AI is not a substitute for professional education, medical training, legal guidance, or any other form of professional instruction. AI-generated flashcards are study aids only.

8. Acknowledgment

By using MemoThings AI features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these AI Content Terms. You accept that AI-generated content requires human verification and that MemoThings bears no liability for AI content accuracy.
