We collect information you provide directly (account details, flashcard content, study data), information collected automatically (device info, crash reports, in-app study analytics), and information from third parties (authentication providers). We do not sell your personal data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to provide and improve MemoThings services, including: delivering flashcard content, computing FSRS scheduling, personalizing your learning experience, and communicating important updates.

5. Legal Bases

We process your data based on: contractual necessity (to provide our services), legitimate interests (improving MemoThings), and your consent (for optional features).

We use trusted third-party services, including Supabase (database and authentication) and Firebase (push notifications). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Flashcard decks you have published to the community will remain available to other users who have imported them.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
